My parents—Brenda and Charles—are the most supportive parents one could have, and I have two wonderful brothers, Brian and Colin. I came to the decision to join the seminary while studying abroad in Rome, Italy. The close encounter I had with the Mother Church, Her saints, and Our Lord Jesus Christ changed my life. In particular, my visits to the relics of St. Peter—my confirmation saint—and other saints inspired me in a special way to answer God‟s call.
