A native of Houston, I grew up and attended school at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church; then I went on to the Jesuit high school in Houston-Strake Jesuit. From there I went to the University of Notre Dame where I earned a B.A. with majors in theology and classics. Although I had discerned entering the Jesuits for a while, I eventually entered law school at the University of Houston. By the end of that first fall semester; however, further prayer compelled me to contact the Office of Vocation. This is my first year as seminarian, and I hope to continue into it with a will that is generous and a mind that is open.
