Born the youngest of four children- like most families today- we had problems and issues; however, the Lord saw me through those difficult times with His tender love and compassion.
After earning my real estate license right out of high school, I worked in commercial real estate for two years. During those two years, I coached track for the junior high program at St. Anne’s School. It was during this time that I was then asked to chaperone a youth conference in Arizona.
At the youth conference, I realized I needed to dedicate my life to God- I knew I would never be truly happy if I continued in my path of real estate. Upon returning home from that trip, I began the process of leaving real estate to further discern where God was calling me.
After two years, I finally applied and was accepted as a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Now in my third year of formation at Holy Trinity Seminary, I am not only happy with where I am, but each and every day I am full of joy.
I am an average guy who had to grow up with problems like many people now a-days. Yet, it did not stop Jesus from calling me towards the priesthood, and it did not stop me from listening to that Call.
