The evening was a tremendous success! We welcomed
our new and returning seminarians, honored priests, and raised over
$200,000 for much-needed HTS renovations including the Dining Hall and
Student Lounge. (above) Bishop Kevin J. Farrell, Diocese of Dallas,
greets the crowd; (above l to r) a gathering of HTS Rectors: Archbishop
Michael J. Sheehan(1976-1982), Rev. Msgr. Michael G. Duca
(1996-present), Rev. Msgr. Charles W. Elmer (1982-1987), and Rev. Msgr.
Charles B. King (1968-1969), shared a historic moment during the
reception.

Keynote speaker was Most Rev. Michael J. Sheehan, Archdiocese of Santa
Fe, who spoke on the "Gift of Priesthood." (at right) Evening Prayer
with all seminarians on the large stage and 1,100 people gathered to
welcome them.
Collegiate seminarians from Holy Trinity Seminary and Redemptoris Mater
Seminary were included along with seminarians studying Theology at St.
Mary's Seminary, St. John Vianney, and HTS Alumni currently serving
their pastoral year in the Diocese of Dallas.

Another
highlight of the annual dinner
was the "Wine Pull" which featured over 300 bottles of fine wine and
champagne for which patrons could "pull a cork" for a donation of $20.
